I think that the electoral loss in Karnataka will do more good than harm for BJP in the long term, and here are 4 reasons why

- The people’s verdict against corruption in Karnataka brings hope that a similar sentiments at the national level will turn the tide in favour of BJP and its allies in the 2014 elections to Lok Sabha
- BJP leaders in Karnataka can channelize their efforts into strengthening the party at grassroots level and preparing for the next electoral battle, rather than be distracted by internal power struggle (which is likely to haunt Congress now) and governmental responsibilities.
